My first memory of negotiating is from when I was just seven years old. I negotiated my older sister’s pocket money to go up by 50%.

Safe to say that putting more money in the hands of women has been my passion from an early age.

Many of us have been taught that negotiation is aggressive. Confrontational. Something loud, erratic, and ego-driven. But it doesn’t have to be like that.

Negotiation, when done well, is calm. Respectful. Strategic. And… fun!

It’s about knowing your value - and giving the other side the chance to meet you there.
